Healthy Brunching 101

Sundays. The perfect day to have friends over for late brunch with really good, healthy, homemade food. Brunch doesn't have to be about stuffing your face & feeling like you need to 'start over' on Monday morning. I have some serious life hacks that will have you craving to make a Sunday brunch right away.

For Sunday drinks... Instead of loading up on sugar from cheap champagnes & generic orange juices, make a swap for vodka like Tito's and top it with your favorite fresh fruit juice and Kombucha flavor. 

Give my favorite Sunday Spritzer a try:

  • 1 @healthade Kombucha (your flavor of choice - see more options here )

  • 1/2 a fresh lime squeezed for juice

  • 1/2 burnt grapefruit to use for juice

  • 2 slices of grapefruit for garnish

  • Edible flowers for garnish

*Combine all ingredients, Shake, Stir & Sip.

Mom's Secret Crust free, Dairy free Frittata:

  • 8-12 eggs (depends on the size of your pan)

  • 1 - 1.5 cups of almond milk (or milk of choice

  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato

  • 1/2 cup choped onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped kale

  • Parsley

  • Basil

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Coconut oil spray

STEP 1: Set oven to 400°. Chop all veggies (Use any veggies you prefer!) 

STEP 2: Spray pan with Coconut Oil Spray, add chopped veggies to bottom of pan.

STEP 3: Whisk together eggs, almond milk (or milk of choice) and season with Salt, Pepper, Basil & Parsley. Add mixture onto chopped veggies in pan.

STEP 3: Place in oven & cook for 30-40 minutes. Done when toothpick comes out clean!

The Best Damn Avocado Toast around : 

  • Fresh Sourdough bread (Sourdough naturally contains less gluten than regular bread)

  • 1/2 Fresh Avocado

  • Salt & Red Pepper Flakes

  • Ghee

STEP 1: Set oven to Broil.

STEP 2: Butter each side of bread with Ghee and place in the oven directly under the broiler.

STEP 3: Keep checking on bread (about 5 minutes each side) until brown.

STEP 4: Top with avocado + spices & ENJOY!
